Medical Pitch Contest Bonn
For the fourth time, the Transfer Team of the Medical Faculty Bonn is organising an exciting pitch event. Scientists and members of the Medical Faculty Bonn will have the opportunity to present their innovations to renowned venture capital investors and win a generous cash award of 60.000 EUR.
Panel Discussion
In the interdisciplinary Panel, speakers will discuss a current Hot Topic in Medicine and give food for thought about the future of the medical field.
We will again have plenty networking opportunity between academia, start-ups and industry with a focus on medical imaging and artificial intelligence.
Applications for the Medical Pitch Contest are now open.
All projects and ideas with commercial potential are invited to pitch. The Medical Faculty awards prizes (split between three winning teams) totaling EUR 60.000 for further development of the ideas. The contest is open for all topics and projects of all stages (even very early ideas). A jury consisting of professional investors will provide feedback and select the winners.
Terms for participation:
- At least one team member has to be a member of the Medical Faculty Bonn or employed at the UKB
- The project needs to have commercial potential
- The commercial rights of the projects are so far not given to a company
- The project did not already win a prize in one of our previous pitch contests
